Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As both boxers participated in the traditional stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
